Analogue Signal Processing |
more
detail
A tough industrial environmental makes it extremely difficult to transmit analogue signals without faults. Weidmüller products are a
reliable solution to this problem. The highly compact modules convert, isolate and monitor analogue measuring signals whilst
guaranteeing maximum process safety.
Sensors monitor complex industrial operations and enable conclusions to be drawn concerning both the process and the status of the
system. The sensors’ analogue signals are subject to numerous sources of interference such as differences in potential, linked
measuring circuits and inductive or capacitive couplings.

Interface Units |
more
detail
Given the need to reduce costs in switch cabinet construction, interface units offer an alternative to wiring concepts with point-to-point
wiring.
The prime function of interface units is to act as a trouble-free adapter element between standardised plug connectors and point-to-
point wiring or other connection systems.

IDC technology |
more
detail
IDC means Insulation Displacement Connection. This tried and tested connection technology from the telecoms and automotive
industry is now widely accepted for feed-through terminal blocks in various industrial applications
IDC connection technology requires only a minimum of mounting time and guarantees a reliable contact without insulation stripping,
without screws and costly tools.

Tension spring connection |
more
detail
Terminal blocks with springtype connection technology, i.e. tension clamp. In addition to screwtype terminals we offer our customers
the tension clamp technology as a further connection technology system.
The Weidmüller tension clamp is 100% vibration resistant, temperature resistand up to 120°C and furthermore, it is maintenance-free
thus ensuring a safe connection - lifelong.

Screw Connection |
more
detail
Optimum contact ensured through the patented and renowned clamping yoke system which is based on the classical increase of force
of the screw. Requring only small effort, the screw thread produces high contact power.
A high contact force is only effective when continuously excerted on the conductor. The Weidmüller clamping yoke system works as
follows: When the clamping screw is tightened, the resultant force causes the upper thread overlap to spring open, thus causing a
locking action to be exerted on the screw. Movement of the connected conductor is compensated by the elastic behaviour of the
clamping yoke.

Shield Connection Terminals |
more
detail
The clamping yokes of the KLBÜ series permit a reliable and easy connection of cable shieldings.
Five different versions for different cable diameters can be easily installed on a 10 x 3 mm busbar. Different busbar supports
complement the series.
